This includes basic science courses in biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, pathology, pharmacology, clinical diagnosis and treatment. In addition to this coursework, the curriculum for naturopathic doctors includes botanical medicine, lifestyle counseling, homeopathy, and over 200 hours of nutrition. The last two years start to differ between the professions. Naturopathic Doctors have their clinic training in integrative primary care settings, while allopathic doctors have clinical rotations in both a primary care and hospital setting.
